A must visit if you find yourself nearby! The warmest and most welcoming space with the best food. My partner and I came here twice during our visit to Bandon because it was just that good - once for lunch and then for breakfast because we had to come back to try the biscuits and gravy (and pie… just wow). The owners are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and dang do they know what they’re doing in the kitchen. Thank you for making us feel at home and for filling our hearts and stomachs, Nate and Casey! We can’t wait to come back!!
During a road trip through the USA, we passed The Spoon on Highway 101. This small, unassuming place is an absolute must-stop if you’re anywhere nearby! Classic American, rustic, and cozy, with benches to sit on. You’re greeted warmly right away, and the service is unbelievably fast. A nice touch was that water was served automatically with the food. The food itself was absolutely amazing. The classic double cheeseburger was outstanding, and the fries were just as good. The flavors really stand out compared to other places ,the cook truly knows his craft. Thank you once again for the fantastic food. Greetings from Germany
A hidden gem and worthwhile option for traveling on Hwy 101. The atmosphere is casual on the food was very good. Interesting story behind the place. Hardly any street parking, but there is plenty of parking behind the restaurant.
All you travelers on highway 101, this is the place you want to stop for breakfast or lunch. There is nothing remotely as good for an hour in either direction. All the food is homemade and delicious. They are also loaves of bread for sale which are outstanding. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed friendly service and good food. While many folks travel the coastal highway and opt for the tourist town dining spots, we really loved this quiet little community cafe. I had the pulled chicken sandwich with a side of Mac salad. The bun was toasted and had just a nice little crispy edge, plenty of juicy shredded chicken, a little sauce, and crunchy cole slaw. Hubby had the Reuben which was tasty and tender. We have found that Reuben’s can very greatly from one place to another and this one was not your traditional corn beef but likened more to roast beef. The chef came by our table to chat and check on our meal as did our server - a very nice personal touch. There were several others dining here as well. Parking is mostly along the shoulder
