The South

My sisters and I went to The South yesterday my first time there and it was a great experience. The customer service was amazing from our server and I believe the owner as well (I forgot to get their names). We started with boudin balls as our appetizer. For our meals, we had the shrimp étouffée, chicken fried chicken, and D’s chicken sandwich. Each meal came with two sides. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, was hot, and very flavorful. We also received complimentary pork rinds, which were really good. The cornbread was our favorite moist, sweet, and honestly so good. Overall, everything we tried was delicious. I’ll definitely be back for the live crawfish.

This place was awesome. The food was great. Customer service was on point. The crawfish was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend coming here to try. We had a group of six people to seven came around dinner time. The sauce and the crawfish was at 10 at 10. Will be coming back thank you.

This place brings the heart of New Orleans right to Wylie, Texas. The atmosphere, the flavors, and the hospitality made it feel like we were dining in Louisiana. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the owners coming out to greet us personally made the experience even more special. The boiled crawfish had the perfect kick, and the gumbo along with the red beans and rice were rich and full of flavor. We enjoyed some crispy pork rinds to snack on and finished with a delicious bread pudding that did not disappoint. Highly recommend!!

Order at the counter and Table service Southern comfort food restaurant in a strip mall. Seating is rather limited. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean and in good order. Menu contains plenty of items and there are a handful of items not on the menu. Service was exceptional, super friendly and accommodating. We had the fat Cajun combo. Everything including the sauces were great. Highly recommend.

OMG 10s ACROSS THE BOARD!! I dont know how I found this place but im so glad I did! 🦐 everything was amazing! The atmosphere is small and intimate and the service is southern hospitality at its BEST. I came to try the crawfish and was only going to get 2lbs but it was so good I ended up with 4lbs and a cup of gumbo. Both were filled with flavor and not greasy butter sauce like most places out here. I highly recommend this place and I will absolutely be back!!
