I finally got to come in for breakfast with my kids. We were sad to see the old menu gone, but excited for the new menu. Here’s my thoughts, we miss the French toast, the pancakes are HUGE, we wish they had a kids menu where you get not just carbs, but protein and a drink. I ordered the trout and was expecting a full fillet for the price, but it was a small piece of fish. I wasn’t a fan of the orange sauce, it didn’t feel breakfasty. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t for me. The potatoes were okay, burnt. The coffee was better than it used to be. The hot cocoa was good the kids said. The eggs Benedict was amazing my kiddo said. Overall, if you’re hungry it might be the best option in the silver valley. I wish they did breakfast more than just Friday through Sunday! I’m giving it a 4/5 because
Probably the best place we've eaten in the Silver Valley. And we've been almost everywhere. The chicken wings were awesome and not breaded which is huge. Our burgers were delicious. We eat fairly keto - definitely had a bite of the potato option. Yuuummm.
This place is FANTASTIC! It is a must if you are in the area! Great atmosphere and history, the service was exceptional - thank you Jayden and team, you are a very special bunch! The food was so good and the bread pudding was over the top! Great job team! Keep up the good work! Well done! We will definitely be back!
Such a fun place - and the food is excellent! We shared a reuben sandwich the size of two sandwiches, added clam chowder, a side of onion rings along with the fries, and topped it off with huckleberry bread pudding, The Reuben sandwich featured marble Rye and all the fixings, including Pit smoked corned beef, and was absolutely delicious. A highlight was also the Onion rings that were perfectly crisp, and I had them with blue cheese dip. The clam was a delicious surprise, and the best I've had for a while, Chock full of clam and potato. But what's stole the show had to be the dessert. Do yourself a favor and make room for this, If you can, at the end of the meal, A huckleberry bread pudding with huckleberry ice cream, huckleberries and caramel drizzled over the top. The play of the dif
We've been using the Snake Pit as a destination bike ride from Harrison for 5ish years now with our boys, riding 32 miles each way on the trail of the CDAs. It's never been about the food, and when asked, I would tell people the food is mediocre. it was always about the experience, and a fun historical location. However, The Snake Pit is under new ownership and it really shows. Atmosphere: Both the outside and inside have been spruced up. The inside is noticeably cleaner, with better table spacing. The outside has flowers and plants adorning the 2nd level, making it far more attractive now. They've added to signage, redone the menus, and it's all a nice upgrade. It's a work in progress, and I hope to see continued improvements... the men's bathroom definitely needs some work. Also, fly
