The Skyline Diner

Walking into the Skyline Diner feels like stepping back into the golden era that made diners iconic. The nostalgic setting is warm, inviting, and true to its classic roots. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the food selection was truly impressive. I’ve been searching everywhere for a turkey burger, and was pleasantly surprised to find not just one, but a perfectly crafted Turkey Melt Deluxe on their generous menu. It wasn’t a frozen patty—it was fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite. Since it was freezing outside, I also ordered a hot chocolate. It arrived with a light sprinkle of cinnamon and was absolutely perfect—comfort in a cup. Whether you’re stopping by for a hearty meal or settling in to catch the Sunday game, the Skyline Diner hits every mark. Highly recommended

This is the first Diner I have visited in over a decade that made a huge dish for its moneys worth. Felt the platter I order was straight out of the 90s diners I would go to as a kid with my dad. Best Diner in all of Newark and possiblly north jersey. Didnt feel I was sold something cheap and small and tasted amazing too. Coming back for sure

Service here sucks ! Very rude ! All I wanted was something to drink and the Spanish lady acted like she didn’t want to take my order and let 2 other people get in front of me after I already told her what I wanted to drink . This is ridiculous! Then told me a different price for the drink I asked for . Same price for the same size cup but told me I couldn’t have the big cup because I wanted juice . She very nasty with me but wasn’t rude to anyone else ! Just me ! I showed her nothing but respect. I will never stop here EVER AGAIN!

Perfect spot off the highway. Close to nearby hotels and mall. Courteous staff , and efficient service ..was impressed to see 24 hr service . The food was tasty, lots to choose from, great serving size and average diner price. We'd go back if we're in that area.

Delicious food and authentic NJ diner experience at Seaport Diner!! I got the Reuben sandwich with fries, it was huge and had amazing flavor - the corned beef was tender, the cheese melty, rye bread was toasty, and the sauerkraut with Russian dressing made it perfect. Plus it was open face, a really unique touch, served with crunchy pickles, sauerkraut and yummy fries. A feast for sure! My family for sunny side eggs (perfectly cooked) with crispy bacon and pancakes. They were super happy, said it was delicious. The location is perfect for a meal near Newark airport. The service was great, food was served nice and hot, place was clean. And you get that cool New Jersey diner vibe with leather booths and cool bar seating. I definitely recommend Seaport Diner - we will be back!!
