The Silver Spur Restaurant, Bar & Casino

New menu since my last visit. New owners too. New Casino. New bathrooms. Rearranged layout. Friendly service. Great food. Hubby got shrimp, I got a burger. Zero complaints. Definitely will go back when I’m over that direction.

We, me, my husband, and our adult daughter, were in Troy, actually in the Yaak, and after a long, rainy, cold day, we were hungry, wet, and tired. It was getting late, almost 8:00 p.m. We checked online for places to eat. We decided up the Silver Spur. I'm glad we did. We walked inside and the place was warm and welcoming. We don't drink so we sat in the dining room. Everything was decorated so cute and fun. The whole atmosphere inside was fun. The music was great, and even better when the live band began. The restrooms were even decorated so cute, with a chalkboard and chalk in each stall, so if course, my daughter and I left a message on them. The food was really, really yummy. I especially LOVED the broccoli cheese soup. It was smoky and cheesy and I could have eaten a quart of it.

One of my favorite breakfast places to eat when I'm in town. The owners and staff are the friendliest ever and I always leave here happy and feeling like part of a family!

The silver sour is always a good experience. We stop here after all our hikes/camping in the area. August has been my server/bartender many times. She is always friendly and has great suggestions. I highly recommend the trio of mimosas!

I will never go in there again. The waitress didn't write are order down. When she brought it to us have of what we wanted wasn't on are food that we ordered extra. It was over cooked. We told her that we didn't get everything we ordered and she tried to blame the cook. When I cut into it it was well done I ordered rare. I told her and she again blamed the cook. I didn't get mad. When we went to pay she tried to charge us for everything that we didn't get. We once again had to remind her. I will never go back again.
