The Sidewalk Cafe

Overall this place was great! I’d love to give 5 stars because it was great. The problem was we waited for our food for a LONG time. We weren’t made aware until over an hour of waiting they only had 1 cook (which they said that’s all they ever have). He cooked table by table. For having 1 cook the cook did a phenomenal job, I can’t imagine how stressful that is. The servers were great as well, I just wish they would have told us the long wait a head of time. The food was delicious, for being so busy with only 1 person cooking I was shocked at how fresh and good everything was. Just be aware if they are busy you may wait awhile, but the food is great regardless! Also portions were huge!

What a cool vintage modern vibe, the food was amazing and the waitress was super friendly and great service. The kind that earns a great tip!!!

Come here every year when I'm in town. Usually I have great experience with everything here. Started looking at the menu and got coffee. When she came with my coffee she asked me if I know what I wanted. I said not really just kinda joking. She said well just sit here and have coffee then. Can't stand rude people when I'm not being rude or disrespectful. Might just stop coming here all together. Remember that the food here was a lot better years ago. If they don't know you here it's just bad service for you. Won't be back! Mostly because of the waitress I had this morning

I cannot praise Side Walk Cafe enough! Since moving to Painesville over 2 years ago, this little gem has become our absolute favorite. The consistently delicious food and exceptional service have kept us coming back time and time again. It has become our go-to spot for gatherings with friends and family, knowing without a doubt that it will exceed our expectations every single time.
