The Sidecar Inn Bed & Breakfast

We had such a wonderful stay at The Sidecar Inn Bed & Breakfast. Roger, the innkeeper, was beyond hospitable and welcoming — he truly went above and beyond to accommodate us and answer all of my questions before we even arrived. From the moment we got there, we felt completely at home. Breakfast each morning was nothing short of amazing, featuring delicious dishes and local coffee from Townsend. Waking up to the smell of his fresh-baked sourdough bread was easily a highlight of the trip — if he has extra loaves available for purchase, definitely grab one to take home! The property also has plenty of convenient parking, which made everything easy. My wife and I spent three nights at the Sidecar Inn while visiting Tennessee and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Roger and Deb are fantastic hosts, the house is very comfortable and perfectly matched our preference for historic semi-rural bed and breakfast inns which still offer nearby restaurants and activities. We had a wide variety of suggested restaurants to choose from each night and the close proximity to Knoxville made it very easy to visit Market Square. We stayed in the Corkscrew Suite and found it to be very comfortable and the two course breakfasts served each morning were fantastic. The SideCar Inn is an incredible place. I loved the history of the Inn. It is kept up very nicely. Roger, the host is very helpful and attentive. Very knowledgeable with the area and gave us routes to travel we had never seen before when visiting the area. Roger is also a great cook. The breakfasts’ he served us were very good. I highly recommend staying at the SideCar Inn. I would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sidecar Inn for our anniversary. Roger and Deb are great hosts. They even had flowers for us for our anniversary! They are very knowledgeable about local history and activities. Our breakfasts were spectacular! Plenty of food, a lot of variety and so delicious! The fresh baked bread was amazing and we even took home a couple of loaves. We look forward to staying there again.

This Inn was delightfully cozy and a mere 10 minutes from the wonderful restaurants in downtown historic Sevierville. Innkeeper Roger’s breakfast, especially his homemade breads were so delicious! Roger was able to suggest and direct us to parts of Smoky Mtn NP as well as the beautiful State park, Seven Islands. Thank you for the southern hospitality Roger and Deb!!
