The Shop at Dovetail

Delicious sandwiches on the go made with high-quality, wholesome ingredients. This bijou shop is a real gem in Charlestown, focusing on tasty, reliable sandwiches crafted from excellent-quality ingredients. We’ve had them all. Their handmade chips are rustic and moreish. They also sell fresh baguettes, a small selection of bread, and have fridges stocked with curated meats, cheeses, and fresh pastas. Better still, they’ve put together a thoughtful selection of wines and beers for a more discerning palate.

Great place for lunch as they have a variety of options - both salads and sandwiches. Really any type of sandwich and nice/ quick service. Can either call ahead to pick up or pass by. Enjoyed the beef Korean inspired sandwhich- nice flavoring and large portion size. Overall recommend

Had the most delicious gluten-free chicken, Caesar salad wrap here. They have lots of gluten-free options. And a lot of really yummy looking prepared foods in their shop. We took our food and sat outside on their lounge area, which is dog friendly. It was great.

Love this little store! I always discover new and exciting wine options here and they have great food selection, artisanal cheeses and beer just to name a few. Their soups and sandwiches are also delicious. Surely worth a stop in here!

I have gotten lunch here 1-2 times per week every week for the past 2 years and I can confirm that every sandwich, salad, and soup I have ordered has been phenomenal. THE CHIPS are amazing. They also serve coffee now and it's probably the best cold brew I have ever had (Starbucks ain't got nothing on Dovetail). Ben is incredibly nice and will remember your name. If they had enough staff to do breakfast it would be perfect.
