The Shoe - Lakeview Dining & Spirits

We were first time guests here. As New England natives….Polson is just crazy beautiful! our breath was taken away by the beautiful view at this restaurant. It was just captivating to watch the sunset from this dining room. We even Side Sat which we never do! The mountains were just heavenly! Our server Julie from Missoula was lovely! She was warm, relaxed and clearly enjoying her best life living in this region. My husband lived his prime rib. I as a vegetarian easily pivoted with fettuccine Alfredo and salad. The food was fabulous but not too fancy… I wish I could experience this venue during their tourist season. Thank you for sharing your lakeview and majestic mountains with guests from all over. Hands-down, the most beautiful place I’ve dined at in my life!😇

This place is right on Flathead Lake. The view is amazing and the decor is truly Montana. Awesome food options that include Bison burgers and steaks. We had pork belly tips in a wonderful sauce- SUPER YUMMY!! the drinks are good too, and the service was perfect. We much enjoyed talking with folks at the bar 🍸.

Just stopped to get a snack and enjoy the view before continuing on to Kalispell. A beautiful was enhanced by a late afternoon shower that produced a most beautiful rainbow. This was our first time at The Shoe. The steak bites we delicious.. and the server was friendly. Seeing the plates of food coming out for others, we definitely plan to come back for a meal!

We had our dad’s surprise birthday here and it was incredible! Starting with the staff, Jennifer is an all star and stayed in contact with us leading up to the party like a true professional. She was responsive and so kind with all of our questions and really made the experience so special! The food was awesome and you just can’t beat the views at this place. The entire restaurant was spotless and I can’t thank Jennifer and her crew enough for such a wonderful day!

We were headed home to Missoula looking for some place to eat at 7:15 on a Monday evening when I found The Shoe. There were mixed reviews so I was a little leery but also hungry with not a ton of options for anything else. I’m SO happy we gave them a chance. We had wings and potato skins! Big, plump and juicy. The Spicy Honey Garlic sauce was amazing!! Our server Anna was phenomenal! They better hang onto that girl. I waited tables for twenty years, it’s rare to get a server who’s on top of everything but doesn’t over wait. She checked back when our food came, checked on us a couple of times, and cleared plates when we were finished. She brought the bill and was prompt to come back and take the payment.
