The Shaved Duck Smokehouse

This place is hands down the best place I have ever been to in Missouri. Totally blown away with the food and our server Sarah. Sarah you were great went above and beyond. Your recommendations were spot on. Absolutely delicious, this is a place I will be craving often. Can’t wait to come back. Do yourself a favor and eat here!!! There is no better. The local beer was delicious and loved every minute we had here. Thank you shaved duck you are fabulous 🫶🏻

There's no lack of places around St.Louis to get good BBQ and smoked foods. To stand out, you have to do things a bit differently and a bit better than the competition. The Shaved Duck didn't just provide a great dining experience. They provided a memorable one! The kind where you can't wait to go back. Service was friendly and attentive. Great neighborhood feeling. The food? Truly unique and uniquely tasty! I had a beer while contemplating the options. Started with the Duck Chili. Flavorful, unique and warm-spicey, not heat for heats sake. Pulled pork was some of the best I've had in recent memory. The creamed corn was excellent. What sealed the deal for me was the Smoked Meatloaf. Excellent atmosphere. Excellent service. 5 star food! We really enjoyed ourselves. The burger and the pork sandwich were excellent. The fries are delicious too. This is real cooking and for a great price (seriously about as much as a Red Robin etc and way better). The service was excellent too. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend this place.

Enjoyed the entire dinning experience! Food was delicious! Really enjoyed the collard greens, Pulled pork, Tri-tops, Meatloaf, and jalapeño cheddar sausage. Kristine, our server, was very helpful answering our questions and making sure that we didn’t need anything. She then suggested the peach cobbler! Wow! The peach cobbler was amazing!

Very pleased!! Really enjoyed all the meats we had (meatloaf, burnt ends, pulled pork, and tri-tip). The cornbread is delicious.
