Hospitality is truly at the heart of this restaurant. You’re greeted by people who make you feel genuinely welcome. The chaats were super tasty, and what really stood out was the thoughtful service : even though it was a buffet spread, we had peas kachori and naan brought to our table even without asking. The restaurant itself is spacious, and done up in vibrant colors, making it a pleasant place to dine. However, at this price point one would expect a wider variety, especially when it comes to non-vegetarian dishes and desserts. The chicken biryani leaned more toward rice, and a few more chicken pieces would have made it better.

I’m happy to call this place my “second wife” — and the restaurant’s name truly lives up to that sentiment. From the moment you walk in, the warm, homely vibe makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The food is incredibly delicious and genuinely authentic, easily some of the best Indian food I’ve had in the Bay Area. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, rich in flavor, and true to traditional Indian cooking. What makes the experience even better is the service. The staff is polite, friendly, and very attentive without being intrusive, which adds a lot to the overall dining experience. My wife and I have already visited this restaurant twice and are planning to go again — which says a lot, because we usually love exploring new places and rarely repeat visits. That alone speaks volumes a

I actually thoroughly enjoyed this place's buffet mate. The naan is actually pretty crisp and moist. Good stuff. All of the meats are cooked till tender but still moist. The variety in the vegetarian options is high. Good spice. The butter chicken pieces are large though in terms of flavor I've had much better. Their goat is actually much better than other place's goat. The vegetarian options were all good with some even being really great. You can either get room temperature water infused with fruits and herbs, bottled water to or lychee juice as part of the buffet. The place itself is super clean. No issues with my plates or utensils The workers, which are just the owners and their servers were actually really attentive. It's surprisingly some of the better service I've had in the Bay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Best Indian Buffet in Town! Second Wife Indian Restaurant truly impressed me with their buffet! The variety was amazing — from flavorful curries and fresh naan to perfectly cooked tandoori chicken and delicious vegetarian options. Every dish tasted authentic and freshly made, with the right amount of spice and richness. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was refilled and fresh throughout the service. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and welcoming — perfect for lunch or dinner with family and friends.

I guess the buffet is only served at lunch time, despite having the buffet stations properly displayed out in the open. It had a nice atmosphere and it was really nice and quiet inside. I'm gonna piggy back off the last reviewer who said this, but man the prices for what you pay here is outrageous. We didn't even get much, just butter chicken with 2 orders of garlic naan and 2 samosa chaats with rice and it ended up being $90!!!! NINETY FREAKIN DOLLARS!!! LAWD HAVE MERCY!!!!!!! If I would've known, I would nope on the heck outta there!! And we didn't even order drinks, we just drank water!! Normally at other Indian restaurants our bill would be about $40-50 cause we frequent Indian food a lot. But man for that price, our plates and utensils offered should've been made of gold! I mean no wo
