The Seafood Bistro

Traveled to Montgomery from FL to go to the museum and sculpture park and since we've had Pannie's at both locations, hubby and I wanted to try something new and landed on Seafood Bistro. BEST DECISION EVER. We ordered quite a few things: seafood gumbo, shrimp po boy with cheese grits, salmon pasta, fried pickles and beignets, as well as some kids meals for the little ones. Everything was literally chef's kiss. The food was piping hot, and made quickly. I can't say what my favorite item was because EVERYTHING was so good. My only complaint is they're not closer, but at least we have another excuse to make the trip back.

The food was nothing to write home about... but the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was nice. I feel the server was very pushy at times trying to hurry us along. But overall it was okay.

Finally went here after hearing a lot of great comments. They were spot on! Started off with the Fried Calamari. Nice and lightly battered and the dip sauce was perfect. Ordered the Shrimp Tacos with Fried Okra. Plenty of perfectly grilled seasoned shrimp. Slight sweetness and crunch with the slaw. You taste all of the flavors, nicely blended. Haven’t had Fried Okra in awhile and didn’t disappoint. Not greasy and delicious. Hubby ordered the Red Beans and Rice Bowl. It had to be good as he didn’t say anything until it was gone.😂We definitely we I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Didn't get a chance to try the Food but service sucks. We walked in and waited to be seated for a minute after the entrance bell rang. Waiter walked out look us in the face Didn't try to greet us or anything and walked back in the back and continue to have a conversation with someone in the back it was only when my wife said let's le because I know he sees us then he started to walk in our direction and still no greeting.

I drove 25 minutes and waited for them to open for this mess. I never eaten from this place but was excited to see they serve sauted crab claws. First off this isn't worth $30 and the sauce is nasty. I contacted the business in reference to a refund and i was decline a refund but was told I could get something else. Personally I don't like sending food back and getting another menu item. The staff was very uninterested in my thoughts yet tried to justify things. I'll never do business here again
