The Savvy Bean

Super cute coffee shop in downtown Waterloo. I ordered an iced latte with vanilla bean and caramel syrup with an extra shot of espresso and it was delicious. Strong, but with a little sweetness. My daughter ordered a blended vanilla bean and caramel syrup latte normal, it was sweet but yummy. Staff is friendly, and as soon as we sat down the npc’s spawned!!! The place filled up fast.

Cute shop! Delicious brew! Outstanding selection of flavors and specialty drinks! I'm not local but visit the area regularly. I will definitely stop in again.

I used to get Açaí bowls weekly, but stopped coming as often when I noticed the bowl kept getting emptier over time. I’ve mentioned it to the staff once when ordering and she did add more. I wouldn’t mind if it wasn’t already $12.50 plus the added tip. The açaí only filled up 1/4 of the bowl and the toppings were another 1/4… I feel like this could’ve fit in a small container… THE STAFF ARE ALWAYS KIND AND IT IS A BEAUTIFUL SHOP. I got gift cards for my coworkers for the Savvy Bean because we genuinely enjoy it; however, this has been really disappointing.

I found out about the Savvy bean just a few months ago and let’s just say I very quickly began choosing The Savvy Bean over any chain coffee shop I enjoyed before. They just don’t compare! Every time I visit I’m greeted with a smile and a warm atmosphere! You can really see, feel and most importantly taste the love that has went into this coffee shop! If you haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, I highly recommend!

This is my favorite coffee shop in the Cedar Valley! I go there so often. Wonderful food and delicious coffee. The atmosphere is so cute and cozy too. Perfect place to do work or meet up with friends!
