The Salad Station-Midtown

First time visiting a salad station and it will be my last. I have never pd $32 for a regular size salad, small cup of soup, and a drink before and I never will again!!! They do have a big variety of salad ingredients but it comes back to a basic salad. Find a salad you like at a fast food restaurant and pay $7. I can’t get over the price here. They weigh it so you have no idea how expensive it is until you check out. We could have had a steak and salad for the exact same price.

Initially I was little disappointed when I walked in and saw that this is a giant self-serve salad bar, because I don’t want to make my own food when I go out to eat, lol. Also, as you walk down the bar, you find more ingredients that you didn’t know were there and then you just keep adding all of these random items to your bowl- like, ooh cilantro, ooh banana peppers, buffalo chicken, I want that too! When I looked down at the ‘Frankenstein’s monster’ that I had created, my initial thought was, ‘Dang, I wish I could dump this out and start over’. But, surprisingly, it actually tasted good, even though I had put so many random things in that bowl. And better yet, I felt great after I ate here, because it was light and healthy and it gave me lots of energy to get through my day. Now that I

Build your own salad and lots of extra sides. It’s a great place to have lunch and be able to talk. It’s always clean and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful!
