My husband and I celebrated our wedding at The Sagamore in April 2025 and had an awesome experience! For anyone worried about inclement weather on their wedding day: don't be, when it comes to The Sagamore! A little background about our day: got ready and married off-site, used the Sagamore for the reception only, it rained heavily all day and night, and it was about 45 degrees out on April 26 in Sandwich. Vendors we used were: The Sagamore, DJ Wiley, Thistle and Pine Photography, Lori Fellows for the cake, Michelle's Hair and Beauty Bridal, and Cape Destinations, and they all absolutely crushed it! We did not have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator which was a little challenging with set up and break down but we managed with friends and family. - The staff: Nicole, Cathryn, and Sabi

A wonderful family owned restaurant. The quaint setting make you feel like you feel like you stepped back in time. The New England Clam Chowder is creamy with chunks potatoes and generous amounts of clams. The Haddock Chowder pops the local flavor at every spoonful. Their Lobster Bisque is rich, creamy, and has several large portions of Lobster. Each bite makes your mouth water for the next. That is just what I had. With a group of 7, we all raved about our dinner. A must visit to enjoy the taste of New England!

We stopped in to have dinner tonight. The atmosphere was a bit off the restaurant was cold inside. We were greeted by waitress she seemed very pleasant. We order up an appetizer of little necks I asked if it came with hot drawn butter I was told yes it comes with all that so I ordered 1/2 dozen! I ordered the seafood casserole and my Fiancé ordered Chicken Broccoli Alfredo was a recommendation by the waitress. We got 3 pieces of bread for 2 people then the appetizer showed up the little necks were on ice and raw they looked like minced clams. I really thought they were cooked. There was no hot butter I sent them back. The dinner came out the portions were tiny I noticed nobody taking home leftovers. My casserole came with 2 shrimp about 7 scallops fish and lobster pieces and very light cr

Extremely disappointed in our meal. I'm not sure how there aren't more reviews but we ordered 3 appetizers and a salad for dinner. The salad which came with grilled peaches were rock hard, ice cold and dark. We asked about it and was told thats how they make them. We ordered the clams casino and they looked so undercooked we were worried we'd be sick. The manager did take this off the bill for us. The amount of stuffing and batter on the other appetizers was so much you couldn't even taste the food it was covering. The shrimp was covered in what tasted like straight up mayo. Definitely would recommend other places in the sandwich area. Stars were really just for the nice staff.

The food and service are fantastic but the building was so cold (early January) I couldn't give five stars. The location is super easy to find and the building is charming. I had a bacon and scallop pizza that I'm going to have dreams about, and I was told the whole belly clams were good, but just a little underdone. Highly recommend in slightly warmer weather.
