The Rusty Pig BBQ

Went on a recommendation of a friend. Maybe we hit on a not so good day, but not a place I'd go to again. I had the pulled pork, it was good and plentiful.Loved the Bees Knees BBQ sauce. Have 4 flavors Fries, just fries. My husband had the ribs. They were a disappointment. Very dry, not falling off the bones. Not worth the money. We hadn't been there before, were not given drink cups when we paid. I told the girl when she brought the food. Her answer was you get them when you pay. Well I paid and didn't get them. Had to go back to counter. You also aren't given cutlery, it's hidden by the drinks in s contraption I have never seen before. No service beyond that. Yo me it wasn't worth the drive from Midway

The staff was very nice. It was my first time they help me picked my meal. I went with two ribs a side and a drink for $12 good deal. They have home made sauces on the table the ribs were big and tender. If you like hunting you will like this place too alot of a dear mounts. Kind of have a caban vibe.

Ordered online and was not ready when I arrived, which isn’t even a big deal. The biggest problem is that I got my food. I went outside and checked it before I left because I was traveling through town. This place is usually amazing. They left off my add Of two ribs, Then when I went back inside I was treated rudely by the manager, even after showing the receipt and order, rolling for the eyes and all. The cashier apologized for her, and the food was okay. The cheese sticks were cold, but at that point I wasn’t daring to say anything. Food is usually good, 7/10. But customer service was NOT WELL!

Best place for BBQ hands down. Large portions, actual quality smoked meats, tasty fried foods, and hearty sides! Everything tastes fresh and made with passion for the craft! You can even walk away with a unique tasty treat, even though you will not have room! It’s worth the drive coming from any destination!

Brisket flavor was lacking, very surface level smoke not deep or rich. Extremely greasy (dripping through the bread). Okra had an unsalted batter and was really bland. The sauce choices were 4 different ones and they were simplistic in flavor. Overall the deer mounts on the walls were great to look at but $20 for a sandwich, okra and a Styrofoam cup of sweet tea... For lunch, OUTRAGEOUS!
