The Rooting Pig - A Charcuterie Bar at Broad Arrow Farm

We love stopping by the Rooting Pig! The menu is creative and makes great use of local foods. We typically share a couple of appetizers and one of the BAF sandwiches. It's a wonderful spot to sit outdoors at picnic tables on the lawn overlooking the meadow on a sunny day. Often there are families with small children playing, visiting the pigs, etc. Really just a nice spot to visit, shop and eat.

The Rooting Pig at Broad Arrow Farm is one of my absolute favorite spots to eat and drink! The staff is so friendly and attentive! The food is so freaking good. Every dish I've tried has truly knocked my socks off. Fresh, local, flavourful, unique, I could go on! Also, great selection of local beers! I can't recommend going here enough, it's amazing (:

When I saw this place had a perfect 5 stars I was not surprised one bit! We arrived early and with our pup. They were very accommodating and friendly. We ordered the deviled eggs which are a MUST as they are the most delicious deviled eggs I’ve ever had. You can also walk around the farm to see the sunflowers or the pigs! Will be recommending this place!

Great place to grab a meal or provisions. Many of their own products (try the Portuguese hunters sausage or fennel salami) & mostly Maine provisions from beer to cheese to pork to spices to wines. Outdoor tables/bar with charcuterie boards & other dishes (the mission figs with a red wine reduction & goat cheese were to drive for)

Sit at a picnic table and enjoy one of the best sandwiches ever! This is one of our favorite lunch spots because the sandwiches are that good! Pleasant staff and great service along with good local beer. Can't beat it!
