The Rolling Grill Pit Beef & Catering

Rolling Grill catered our annual Christmas gathering at work and the food could not have been better everyone enjoyed the pit beef and ham - the BBQ chicken was tasty and moist. The ordering process was simple easy to navigate through and very thorough. The friendly staff made it easy for pickup which is always a huge plus- if you’re thinking about having your holiday celebration catered give RG a try you won’t be disappointed.

Very disappointed that this cannot be a good review, however, when you have a business it's not just about 5 star service & food, it is also about making something right when you've gotten it wrong. I have given The Rollling Grill several opportunities over a period of months and it seems to be hit or miss... Ordered Pitt beef specifically requested "med/well, more well than med" got home it was 100% rare, like raw. too tired to go back, I took a picture, stopped by in person to explain and show proof with pic, I was told, "oh well, you could've microwaved it" 🤷‍♀️ A few months later... picked up carry out, got home, took a bite of turkey sandwich, got a mouth full strands of hair! 🤢 for real. First time trying this spot ordered take out, dining area looked/sounded busy for a weeknight. As soon as you open the door you're greeted with a good smokey smell. Order was served fast, we didn't wait at all inside restaurant but I've got a little drive to get here. I found my ribs a little dry but could be from being inside the takeout box, ribs were meaty and heavy. Loved the bbq sauce. The mac n cheese was good, not impressed with the beans. Beans were pretty basic for a BBQ spot but not inedible. Interested in checking out the bar for lunch one day, glad I took up the recommendation from a coworker.

I usually get very good food from here, but last visit 3 days ago was a disappointment. Ordered a sausage with onion and peppers. The sausage was small, barely filling in 2/3's of the roll. There were no peppers, and the onions tasted as if there soaked in vinegar. Also ordered a pit beef. There was absolutely no seasoning on the beef, and also no charcoal/smoke flavor. It just tasted like unseasoned,roast beef. I'll try again, but this was a letdown.

I used to rave over the chili. It was so flavorful. Today is only tasted like chili seasoning. Veggies meat and even the sauce only tasted like chili powder. I bragged about it many times. Maybe we got a bad batch, but ill never know.
