We love the personal pizzas at River Eatery! There are so many excellent combinations and the crust is TO DIE FOR 🤩 They have a few salads to accompany the pizza (we loved the Greek salad with lightly ROASTED tomatoes?!) and it’s nice that the portion sizes have increased under new management. 🥗 The fact that the restaurant is connected to a bookstore is extra sauce on the pizza pie. 📚Speaking of pie, save room and go next door to have a slice of Tilly’s Pies 🥧 It’s truly better than homemade! PS.. The restaurant gets very busy on summer nights and event weekends. Puts the nice selection of microbrews to good use.

First time here and will definitely come back.Good appetizers large selection of pizzas. Clean restaurant with friendly employees! Fair prices. You go thru a bookstore to get to the restaurant.

Fun style atmosphere, but when you stand in line to order your food and beverage, then try and find a clean table. We were not going to leave a tip that was recommended. But I don't tip at Dairy Queens or McDonald's. Granted, it's a wood fired pizza oven, but waiting 45 minutes after you ordered seemed excessive. Also, there were very few toppings for the price. 2 pizzas and 2 beers $45. 1 beer was cold, and the other was not.

We love coming here. Every pizza is excellent! Our usual order is a Nemadji and a Marengo. The Nemadji is so unique. The Thai peanut sauce is a very flavorful, balanced sauce. The cranberry chicken is perfectly tender with a hint or tart sweetness. The feta adds a briney sharpness and peas add a perfectly sweet popping sensation. I would never order this anywhere else, but you must try it here! My wife loves the Marengo pizza. The barbecue sauce is sweet and zesty, the ground beef has a nice caramelization on it, the mushrooms add an earthy meatyness, and the blue cheese takes it to the next level. Honestly all of their pizzas and salads are so good. If you're looking for a really good starter here, the bread and dipping sauce is really good. The bread has a crispy crust and is so pillowy

What a fun spot! Our family all loved our experience here. An outdoor tether ball area, nice outdoor seating, great staff and selections. It is tough to find anywhere in this area of WI that offers gluten free options. Thanks! We will be back.
