The River Tap

We stopped by this place for lunch with a group of six people, and it turned out to be a nice experience overall 😊🍽️ The atmosphere feels like a classic Midwestern small-town bar — simple, relaxed, and comfortable. It’s nothing overly fancy or flashy, but the place was clean and had a welcoming vibe. There was only one server working at the time, but since the lunch crowd wasn’t very busy, everything still ran smoothly. The service was friendly, quick, and attentive, which we really appreciated 👍 The food tasted good and came out pretty fast, so no one in our group had to wait long. All in all, it was a solid lunch stop with good food and great service. I’d definitely come back again 😄

Service was awesome, and they were very attentive. The ladies behind the bar were helpful with the menu and were happy to turn up the TV for a football game. I am glad I discovered this place and will be back ASAP.

In town for Ragbrai and on the Pizza hunt. All cash bar that also has pizzas. Pie was decent, I left sated.

My friends and I were driving home and this place was suggested to us. It was a Sunday and they were short staffed but she did a great job. She was kind and attentive and the BLT with tots was just what this weary traveler needed! It was a relaxed atmosphere and everyone was welcoming.

Beautiful location situated right on the river. The Bartender/ Waitress was super friendly and made a good bloody Mary. We only stopped for a drink but loved the vibe!
