The River House

I recently visited the River House Café in Capon Bridge, WV, and had an amazing experience! The café offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a menu full of delicious, locally sourced dishes. A standout part of our visit was our server, Jess, who was incredibly attentive and friendly. She truly is an asset to the team, and her excellent service made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

There is never a shortage of fun and culture at The River House! The open mics are so fun and welcoming, and the staff always takes such great care of everyone. I've never had a bad meal here.

I have been wanting to stop in and am so glad I did! It’s so eclectic, features lots of local art/ crafts for purchase, has incredible coffee/ food, and I can’t wait to come back for a concert. The employees were super nice, I love the mission of this place, and it’s a gem!

The cafe's location is superb, offering a delightful view of the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our time savoring coffee and delicious food while appreciating the surroundings. The quality of both the food and service was excellent, making our experience truly delightful. We had a wonderful time at the River House.

This place is so adorable and awesome! My friends and I are from Maryland and Delaware, and we were staying in a cabin in Delray for the weekend. We spent the day in Capon Bridge, and we stumbled across this wonderful coffee shop. They so happened to be having an artisan fair while we were there, and everything was perfect! The whole deck and side yard was full of local artists and crafters selling their items. The coffee shop has a delicious selection of drinks and breakfast/ pastry items. The decor and atmosphere was awesome, and the staff was very helpful and kind! I'm such a sucker for local art, so I was in handcraft heaven! Lol. Even the coffee shop itself sells local art, and I bought myself a crochet hedgehog 🙂 I'm so glad this town has this coffee shop! I hope to be able to visit
