The Red Caboose

One of my all-time favorite places to grab lunch. The employees make you feel like you are family. The owners are so personable and just genuine people. It doesn't hurt that they have the best hot dog I have ever had, and they are always consistent. Fast service, reasonable prices, and good food!

Outdoor seating only! Hot dogs and fries and fountain drinks. Great place! Stop Everytime we are in Pittsburgh. One of those little quirky places. Give a try check the hours before you go.

This is another place that I have driven by frequently and never stopped at because it is cash only. Today I had cash in my pocket and decided to stop. The parking lot was full, but that turned out to be people eating in their cars as it was snowing. There is lots of outside seating. The staff were friendly and the service was amazingly fast. A tasty cheese dog, and a very generous portion of fries. Both were delicious. I almost went back for another hot dog.

The Red Caboose has a ton of unique atmosphere. Small business with big taste. Want hotdogs near belle vernon, PA. make your way to The RC! Road side, outdoor eating. I will tell yall they have the best fries I've eaten in a very long time! Chile dogs ain't bad either.

whistle stop caboose on highway 51 in Belle Vernon. I love a good hot dog place and was not disappointed. We each had a dog and split a cheese fries and left complrtely full and satified!
