This is a must stop when in town, but be sure to check that they’re open. So many places in the area have limited hours. Service was great, the place was busy Sat night. Fried egg burger with sweet potato fries was delish. Husband loved the greens, beans & ham (side dish of turnip greens, pinto beans, diced ham & onions) and the (sweet) cornbread. Our kids’ steaks were cooked perfectly (medium rare). Brussel sprouts came with bacon bits. We will be back!

We had such a wonderful experience here! I ordered the small chicken fried steak, and let me tell you — there was nothing small about it. The portion was incredibly generous, with a crispy, flavorful crust and tender meat inside. The Brussels sprouts were roasted perfectly, and the homemade mashed potatoes and gravy were creamy and comforting. Oh, and let's not forget the amazing jalapeño cornbread. I had to get a piece to go with my leftovers. The kids also loved their cheese pizza. Our waitress was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere inside was just as memorable, with charming old architecture that gave the place so much character and warmth. Best chicken fried steak in Oklahoma. Best I've ever had anyway. Friendly staff and good service. The best places to eat always seem to be in the smaller towns.

Darlene took great care of our family last night. The food was very tasty and prices were good. Certainly worth the drive and the chicken fried steak was very good! Even as we were leaving to pay, Darlene brought our to-go drink to us that I accidentally left on the table. Certainly will be back and a great kickoff to our vacation in Oklahoma!

The kindness and service made us feel like family. A really great atmosphere. Fried catfish was everything you want. Crispy, meaty, tender, light. Also, the jalapeno mashed potatoes are a great twist on a classic.
