The Ram

A timeless Sun Valley classic. The Ram delivers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Service was warm, attentive, and professional without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed evening or special occasion. Highly recommend the Idaho Rack of Lamb and the Japanese Wagyu Hot Rock, both were absolutely phenomenal.

Our meal at The Ram was hands down the best of our week-long trip around the state. The outdoor patio is absolutely lovely, and the live piano player was such a nice touch. Service was very quick and attentive. The daily special was Zwiebelrostbraten which was incredible—so well-seasoned and unbelievably tender meat. The Iberico Pork Schnitzel was also excellent.

Really ok experience…. Started off well, though took a long time for waiter to get to us, once he did it took a very long time to get drinks ordered, as well as waiter forgot to give us bread and then it didn’t arrive tell after the food got there. It took at least 45 minutes to be able to place food order. About half way through manager came over and said waiter was gone due to reasons beyond their control… very odd so he became our waiter. He took ever longer to do everything. The whole dinner was shy of 2 hours. The food was incredible and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend because of how much of a hot mess it was. Even in the end, our reciept was wrong and they had added food we hadn’t ordered and it took far too long than it needed to correct it. Kind of frustrating and there wasn’t muc

Excellent spot, however- they could add one or two good ciders to their drink menu! Such an abundance of this artisan apple brew available, and Strongbow was their only option. This is such a great gluten free option for those seeking something refreshing and light, like a beer.

Absolutely fantastic!! Our server Micah was superb! The manager Mr. Peterson was also great and extremely helpful and hard working. The food...well you couldn't find a better beef tenderloin, truly fabulous! We had the fondue for an appetizer which was also delicious! We highly recommend eating here...we look forward to coming back.
