The Purple House B&B

Christine was the best host you could imagine. I had never had a formal brunch at a B&B. Very impressive! The house is divine. The only negative was the lack of draperies in the downstairs bedroom which let the early morning light in sooner than I would have liked. Otherwise, wonderful. Best bed I've ever slept in.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Purple House for one night during a quick trip to the charming little village of Dayton. We stayed in the large master suite which is on the ground floor with direct access to a sheltered patio next to the pool. The furnishings, bathroom, and bedding were first class and the entire property was immaculate with incredible flower gardens. Christine is the perfect hostess with a wealth of interesting stories about her childhood in Germany and extensive travels. Breakfast was hearty and fresh and sustained us through a busy day of visiting wineries in the Walla Walla area. We'll be back.

Was greeted with a warm smile and the cutest dog you will ever see, by the host, Christine. We stayed two nights upstairs a few weeks ago and just loved it. I can't site a single negative with this beautiful B&B. I had heard the breakfasts were good, but that may be an understatement. The pool and patio area are very nice and wonderfully landscaped. We met some other very nice guests there as well. We will return to this place very soon I hope. Thank you Christine.

I had an experience with a ghost named Lavinia who took me through the house in my dream. When I woke up, she was standing in the corner. It wasn't scary - she was sweet, funny, and pretty. I felt so sure that the experience was real, so I did some research.. there was a family from Ireland that moved to Dayton - and they had 6 generations of Lavinias. One comment about a Lavinia is that she was very beautiful.

What a wonderful B&B with an actual breakfast. So many B&B's today are really just a bed. Great location close to museums, restaurants, shopping, and the historic Court House. The beds are so comfy and the place is kept in excellent condition.
