Mexican food is truly healing. The small pozole is delicious—warm, comforting, and reminiscent of a Mexican chicken noodle soup, full of flavor and heart. The carne asada burrito with guacamole, rice, and frijoles never disappoints; it’s consistently satisfying and well-balanced. You can dine in or order takeout. I got the soup and burrito combo. Lunch and dinner tend to get busy, so if you arrive a few minutes before 11 a.m., you’ll beat the lunch rush and enjoy it at a calmer pace.

The Purple Cactus 🌵 💜 is a unique place to have a quick bite 😁. I visited there with my friend on a hot afternoon but the food especially the fruit 🥤 made it a tasty day. The staff was super generous and the food was mouthwatering. I was totally satisfied with my vegetarian quesadilla and fruit punch. Highly recommended! The food is good and the taste is even better. I feel they should be starting a loyalty program real soon, would love to be back soon 😁.

Ok I been a loyal customer for more than 20 years, and I have brought a lot of customers to this place, but I’m not understanding what’s going on, every time I order through uber eats my order is always missing something, and is not like I get my money back or the tip I leave to the driver, why is it that they are not putting the utensil in the bag, making me go out of my way to look for it -my last order had a hair in it, I call to complain but all they can say is sorry or I’ll put you in the book- like no don’t be sorry and don’t put me on the book - make the order right- because I’m losing money - uber is not cheap

Love coming here to eat everyrtime I come to Boston. Im not from here I'm from NYC, but I just love this place. Everytime I come in here I have never had an issue with anyone. It's a pleasant experience better than I had a Chipotle last time I was here. Workers kept switching spots sooo much that customers didn't know who's attending us and where our plate went . It was bad that Custer's argued about why are you cutting. People didn't mean to cut but they were trying to keep up with their plate because workers were moving too much it was a disaster. I won't go in there again that's for sure. This place is more calm. Def my favorite.

Calling this food “mid” would be a compliment. Don’t waste your money here. The chicken burritos me and my gf got were 60% beans, 30% rice, and 10% everything else. We paid for cheese as well as sour cream and neither were included in our burritos; we had to add our own cheese at home as you can see in the picture lol. I love JP and want to support local businesses but this was my last visit here.
