Innkeeper Nicole is just lovely! As a one person host she lovingly maintains 5 guests rooms, her gardens & prepares a delicious breakfast! Rustic charm awaits you in this mid 1850’s B&B. Only wish I had time to take a kayak out to explore this beautiful lake! If you’re taking in a show at the very cool outdoor venue Bowl in the Pines like I did, it’s conveniently only 7 miles away.

*CAUTION* booked this place for a race I had in Augusta. They call me 3 days before I’m supposed to leave, created my reservation weeks in advance, and tell me that they are canceling my booking and the room i reserved is no longer available. If you are traveling for something important and need your accommodations to be secure, I wouldn’t recommend you book here; they might just cancel it right before you leave.

I didn't even stay here, I just delivered some groceries, but now I plan to try and stay here! Look at that view!!! God I love Maine so much!

Nikki and Ron are amazing salt or the earth people. They were extremely accommodating in a rush type situation. I could have stayed up there for days just hanging out. She made you feel like you were home. Breakfast was so delectable! French toast and a raspberry banana parfait with fresh coffee to start your day! Will be staying at this beautiful place anytime I'm up and there is availability. Less than $250 night and it was such serene space. In the morning from the room I was staying you could see the entire quiet lake.
