The Preacher's Son

What an incredible experience there celebrating my wife’s birthday. They were gracious and kind and intentional! If you have a special occasion to celebrate, you need to go there! The croquettes were phenomenal and so was the steak and salmon (substitute Daraude).

I had the pleasure of dining at The Preacher’s Son for dinner to treat myself while I am in town. From the moment I walked in, the experience was truly memorable. Wes, the host, greeted me warmly and shared the story of the building—how it was once a church for many years before later being transformed into a unique three-part setting: a speakeasy below, a balcony bar above, and the main restaurant in between. Walking into the church-turned-restaurant was breathtaking, with every detail of the architecture adding to the charm. My server, Fiva, recommended dishes that weren’t necessarily the most popular on the menu, but the flavors said otherwise. The best meal of my life!! The well rounded flavorful dishes, the customer service, the ambiance and buzz. Shakira further enhanced the experience with her recommendations. I'm not local and would book a same day return flight just to come back and eat dinner here again.

During our visit to town, a neighbor recommended this place to us. At first, I was hesitant since we had my 90-year-old father with us. However, when I saw that they had swordfish on the menu, I knew we had to go, as it's my father's favorite meal. The standout dish, without a doubt, was the kale salad. I normally wouldn't order it, but it was offered to us on the house. I smiled and thanked them, not expecting to enjoy it. To my surprise, we shared it at the table, and it disappeared quickly! Who would have thought kale salad could be so good? Everything we ordered was excellent. I had the flat iron steak, which I really enjoyed, especially the unique twist on broccoli and cheese. Amazing!!! The food was phenomenal especially the Shrimp Tostada and Baby Bib lettuce salad! The real winner goes out to the service… just so special. My husband took our 2 year old since we are from out of town and didn’t know anyone to babysit in Bentonville and they were so accommodating! Down to them entertaining him for a couple minutes so my husband and I could enjoy some bites in peace! Lovely staff and they gave us an anniversary gift🥹 When we come back into town we will definitely be back!
