I'm so glad a friend of mine posted this on Facebook because I would have not known it was there. This place was previously Middle James Brewing. It still has the brewery feel but has an awesome menu. I went at lunchtime! The focaccia caprese sandwich was fantastic. And that's coming from a New Yorker who has had some really good focaccia sandwiches! The focaccia is made in house and was delicious! I chose the sweet potato crisps which is a very very thinly sliced chip and I have never had sweet potato chips like that. They were so thin they melted in your mouth. Loved them! My employer got the peach jam and gruyere pork sandwich. The pork is basically bacon but it's more like pork belly bacon, very meaty and it had a smokey type flavor to it. It was very tasty, it had so many different fl
Our Airbnb host provided a cool little welcome folder that included places close by that could walked to for food and we decided to give The Pour Market a try. The place is set up pretty nicely and was very clean with an industrial chic look. We could either sit at the bar or a table and we chose the bar. Our bartender was attentive and polite. We started with drinks - she had a pear cider that she enjoyed and I went with a Snafu Garnet and Black Cherry (had to rep Chucktown while visiting Rock Hill). Both were delicious. I then finished with a draft of Keepsake Brewery’s Little Helper, which is a tasty bright and hoppy pale ale with hints of citrus (shout out to a Gastonia brewery) that was quite delicious. For food we started with homemade Mazzologs and they didn’t disappoint. Four h
Unique sandwich choices for something different. Very good.
Great atmosphere, great food, really recommend the blue cheese crisps!
This is a place that maybe has some potential if you combine the inside and outside areas as a good hang out spot, but I wouldn't recommend it as a dinner spot, the food is okay but the staff of 2 wasn't bussing tables and there aren't alot of sit down tables to begin with. I asked about getting a table cleaned off and waited 5 to 10 minutes and instead snagged a high top table that a couple vacated after just having drinks. Atmosphere was definitely the best aspect if the Pour Market. There was a live musician playing and he was good with good music at a good volume for how small it is in there. The decor is really nice too, classic industrial with a nice little bar and a few tvs. There is an outdoor area around a big gas firepit that looked really nice but it was cold out so I didn'
