The Porthole

The sausage burrito is bangin! The sausage is ground up and you can taste that sage goodness. They put hash browns in there. Crispy. Done properly with cheese and egg. The salsa is a perfect sweet and savory matches perfectly. Staff seem really nice. The surrounding area is breathtaking. Gravy was good.

We visited for breakfast during Memorial Day weekend after seeing a friend post a photo of the Deckhand. My wife and I had the Deckhand, our teenage boy had the breakfast burrito. The food was fresh and hot. The Deckhand was good, neither my wife nor I were crazy about the onions. They were a bit soggy but powerful in onion flavor. I wish there had been a bit more of the sauce as the couple bites I had with less onion and more sauce were great. Our teen really liked the breakfast burrito. We will be back to try something else for breakfast tomorrow. There is only one table and no seating out of the rain. Fun to watch the boats in the harbor while eating. Overall, good food, you will enjoy.

Who knew the best breakfast stop in town opens up early enough to get food before you hit the water. We loved our food! VERY LOADED. We could have split our meal, so much good food!

I love the Porthole! It's the most delicious breakfast in all of Seward. The view right by the harbor makes the short wait for their fresh food so enjoyable. Plus this is a business that REALLY shows how much they care about the local community through action.

The people here were THE BEST! The breakfast burrito was THE BEST! I cannot go somewhere and not get a burrito and this one was amazing. I waited around 15 minutes, so not super fast, but worth the wait.
