The only reason they didn't get 5 stars in atmosphere is because they are in a convenience store, but no one expects a 5 in a convenience store. We will definitely be back! Catfish and rib tips were awesome! Mac and cheese to die for. Service with a smile. I highly recommend for anyone who is just looking for good food and service.
Seen on the side of the road and had to try. Got chicken and ribs with baked beans and Mac and cheese. Food had a good taste and the sauce a nice unique flavor with good portions for 25 dollars. The meat was a little tough for me and even though was tasty, a bit difficult to eat. Definitely worth a try if you like this style of food. Worth trying again to see if I had a fluke day.
*Clears my throat* Don’t wait! Get here noooowww! I ordered the rib tips and sweet potatoes on DoorDash and didn’t crack open the box until 3 hours later, because I got busy. Ice cold that food was a 10/10. I can’t even imagine how good it would have been hot. OMG! The sauce was everything! It had the right about of kick to it. The definition of sweet and savory! They didn’t skimp on the meat portion for the tips. The meat was tender and wasn’t fatty at all. I cannot articulate the words to describe the sweet potatoes. You could not convince me that my grandma didn’t make them. Thank you for the love in a box that was delivered to me. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. The photo was after I had eaten half the tips. I only meant to eat one before taking the pic but I couldn’t stop
My husband and I discovered The Plug on Google, and we are so glad we did! Our food was absolutely delicious‼️‼️‼️ We ordered the rib tip meal and ribs, with sides of mac and cheese, collard greens, and baked beans. Everything was cooked to perfection. The ribs and rib tips were incredibly tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned, and the sides were just as good—rich, comforting, and full of flavor. This meal exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be ordering from The Plug again. Highly recommended!
Been here a few times for the rib tips I and they were always good. I just ate the ox tails and they are some of the most tender and delicious I’ve ever had. Now I’m buying two and three plates at a time.
