The Pizza Zone

The other day I tried, The Pizza Zone, for lunch. I had ordered a Pepperoni Slice & a Veggie Slice. The sauce they use is extremely flavorful and greatly impacts my total score. I absolutely enjoyed both slices. Both slices were terrific, but the Veggie Slice stood out the most, tasted extremely fresh and crisp, and the dough/crust is pretty good as well too. I asked for a side of marinara for the crust, the gentleman happily gave me some on the side. The gentleman that took my order was very nice and attentive. Everything was fantastic. The place is small, but has some really nice decor. I’d def recommend anyone looking for some pretty good pizza, and happen to be in the, City of Orange, area.

I’m not the type to write reviews but the way I was treated compelled me to shed light on my experience. The owner was extremely rude. I walked in to politely ask for a napkin since the establishment next door hadn’t given me any. His initial response was “no,” and I said “no problem” as I began to walk out I noticed napkins sitting on the table. When I went to approach them the owner came out from the back with a pizza cutter in his hand as if he wanted to attack me with it and said, “I said NO ! You can get napkins from next door. You’re a non-paying customer and I’m a Black business owner. I pay for my supplies,” as if that excused his behavior. Mind you I’m Black as well and I didn’t realize asking for a napkin was such a big deal. You never know who you’re speaking to and the attitude

✨Black Owned ✨ - I found this gem yesterday attempting to go to another pizza place that I didn’t really care for and I’m glad I did! I got three quick cheese slices and they were far superior! This will be my new go to going forward! The owners are friendly, welcoming and inviting!

They are never open since I’ve been working across the street they open when they want and i always have to walk to Main Street 🙄 Update: i left the review so you would try to be open a little more. Your response you gave the first time was very discriminatory so I’ll be sure to let my BLACK people know not to come here. The last time i came here i even let you keep change that was such a rude reply and i said nothing wrong.

I highly recommend the pizza zone today I got the bafflo chicken pizza and it was delicious 😋. I will definitely be back in the near future.
