The Pizza Man

If I could give above 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. If you are a TRUE born & raised Chicago native, like myself, The Pizza Man is the IT, hands down. From the restaurant vibes, carpeted floors, 90s arcade games, and Chicago sports on every wall, to the menu itself. If you’re looking for a beef, dog, or pizza, look no more, because this is the place for it. I moved to KC 5 years ago, and when I walked in, I felt like I was HOME. Absolutely incredible.

I used to come here frequently up until a recent food intolerance diagnosis. Their pizza is amazing. Thin sliced and one of the best in the KC area. Small pizza joint/hole in wall, which you have to appreciate when everyone is striving for the largest businesses. During the lunch hour, the offer pizza slices of you’re in a hurry and want to get in/out. Support this family operation, you wont look back!

This place is an absolute hidden gem. If you’ve never had an authentic Chicago Italian beef you must try this place. The owners are so friendly and service is great. Highly recommend!

Get the beef w/ cheese! Besides being the best Italian beef in KC metro, owner operated and Mike isn't messing around back there. The dogs are top notch too

If you're just looking for great pizza and amazing sandwiches, this is the place. The hotdogs are good, but are overshadowed by the formers. Only downfall that I have experienced is how early they close up shop. Still, always a goto in my home when it comes to monthly places to eat.
