The Pita Stop

I’ve been here a couple times with family after celebration events. The staff is always very attentive and polite. The food is fresh and delicious. I get the combination appetizer as my meal. SO good! The ambience is pleasant. I have only been for dinner, but I’m sure the service and food are amazing for lunch as well! I highly recommend experiencing the pita stop!

The meat here is amazing. The off-menu filet mignon is the best piece of meat I've ever had, though it is expensive. If you're looking for something cheaper the kabobs are good but even those can be pricey for the college students out there. I typically go for their plates, and their sandwiches are also good price and value but it's not quite enough for my metabolism.

I drive 21mins to buy bottles of their house salad dressing. It's superb! Not hyperbole. They sell it in large bottles, and the complex entropy of the shaken contents reminds me of the 70's lava lamps as the ingredients swirl. But the flavor is lovely!

Food was very plain — chicken was dry, salad comes with one of each topping (one piece of feta, one olive, one tomato, etc…) and no dressing. Hummus was the best part. Lunch portion is fine for the price, but I’ve had better quality food in Birmingham.

First time eating here. Very good experience. Service was great! Very friendly and quick. I ordered a seafood kabob with grouper, scallops and shrimp. It was very tasty and filling. My boyfriend ordered a lamb kabob. My son ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The kabobs were served with a side of hummus, fruit (very fresh), wild rice and a salad. The sandwich was serves with fruit and wild rice. I would return.
