The Pines Supper Club

We should have made a reservation for new Year's Eve, but for whatever reason we didn't. We were out with friends that did have a reservation, and they accommodated us all at the same table. The food was good bordering on great, and the service was excellent considering our last minute choices. I would definitely recommend.

Being from Wisconsin, we were pleased to find a supper club in Illinois while traveling to see fall color. Crudités and crackers as well as a crock of cheese spread started the meal. I ordered the rib eye and my husband the king cut prime rib. We split a grasshopper for dessert. Very welcoming feeling, nice friendly waitress and great menu prices make this a gem of a restaurant. One less star because the food could have been a bit warmer. All in all a great place to eat!

Im in town for work, and thought id get a to go order of prime rib. Sooo delicious and a thick cut and done perfect!!! Comes with potato side and salad. I highly recommend!!!! Yummy! My picture is only HALF the amount i got. It was so delicious i couldnt wait!!!!

Service was show. Did was bland. Ribeye steak. Also chicken Alfredo bland. No parm cheese. Veggie soup was good. Have had better at this establishment. 5-25-25

We walked up to the door walked in. Everyone just stared at us staff and patrons alike. Staff kept walking past us never even acknowledged us. We waited 5 minutes bartender kept looking over at us never once acknowledged us. Then an older man came over to us put his finger up like a number one in TJ's face and then walked away never said a word. The Establishment smelled musty and like something was burnt in the kitchen. We were going to buy prime rib Lost that sale. After waiting for 5 minutes we walked out. And we will never darken that doorstep again. We ended up going to kangley inn and had the best prime rib we've ever had.
