The Pilot House

If you’re ever in Miami and stay at the Wyndham Garden Miami International airport hotel make a point to visit The Pilot House Bar and Restaurant. I had the guacamole with chimichanga and boy oh boy it was delicious! I had tiramisu for desert and that was yummy. Couldn’t decide if I wanted a cocktail or not so Danae suggested a mint lemonade that was so delicious and refreshing I asked for the recipe. The service was excellent (thanks Danae!) and the atmosphere sitting on the outdoor patio was perfect for me. This is going to be my “go to” place when I visit Miami. Be sure to ask for Danae if you want to be treated special!

The Pilot House in the Wyndham Garden hotel We stopped by this 6th floor restaurant and found a very appeasing atmosphere, wait staff was inviting and answered our questions about the food. We had the Venezuelan Tequenos with cilantro dip sauce that was amazing. Ordered the Baby back Ribs (4 ribs per plate), Blackened Salmon with squash and asparagus, and the Lomo Saltedos (excellent choices all!!) This is a 👍 place to eat!! It’s across the street from the airport so you get to watch planes land during your meal

Highly recommend this restaurant on the 6/F Wyndham Garden hotel which offers a great view of the airport to watch plane taking off. Beautiful environment with a relaxing outdoor sitting area . Food was good .Great deal on happy hours .The staff were very friendly and attentive. Will stay at this hotel next time in Miami for the cruise.

Great place for a bit to eat, watch planes, and a nice sunset. I had the chiccaronnes and side salad with house white wine. My husband had the calamari appetizer and Caesar salad. It was a large order of calamari freshly made. The staff was friendly. The prices were very reasonable.

Absolutely delicious & the service was excellent, from the moment you enter the lobby, till you walk in the restaurant. WOW Beautiful airport 🛫 view. Met the GM on our way out, very nice and welcoming gentlemen. Looking forward to another visit soon.
