The Pie Place

We decided to try them out. Very disappointed and won't be returning ever again. The crust is way too thick, the filings regardless in pie or tart seem to be not well mixed because you will get mouthful of nothing but sugar or spices then you have a mouthful of the sourest berries/fruit. A literal spoonful of sugar and thick crust was the first bite we had. The filing itself wasn't anything special (sadly I've had store bought pies and canned filings that tasted better). When it's from a bakery I expect better than my 10yr old niece can make from store bought pre-made ingredients.

I struggle with how I feel about the Pie Place. Why? The inconsistency of their pies--and I've probably tried them all over the years. I can buy the same pie on multiple occasions & it's never the same. I'm sometimes disappointed by a pie I loved before. I adore their cream pies--lemon meringue & chocolate are amazing but my favorite is the banana cream pie, hands down. Their cherry pie is *mostly* great. I've bought one for a party that absolutely did not have sugar added & was so unbearably tart that it was inedible. I agree with other reviews that the blueberries are tough & off-putting, a texture similar to frozen berries. I tried the forest fruit pie for the 2nd time last week & the tough blueberries and hard peaches have me convinced this is not the pie for me. I ordered a lemon me

Great flavors! Everything is high quality and smells incredible. I ordered the loaded brownie, coconut cream puff and sugar cookie (see pics)

We bought a four pack of fruit tarts and an oatmeal raisin cookie. The tarts were fabulous - simple and delicious. The cookie was good, but was the crunchy kind - not my favorite but the flavor was still spot on. Would go again. Thank you for being open Christmas Eve.
