The Perk Beverage

Great local spot. Fresh ingredients. Chill atmosphere. I love that this place features local artists by displaying their work for sale. I try something different every time I go. Quality items. Special touch, fresh flowers on the table. Items purchased this trip: iced hazelnut coffee, Spinach quiche, strawberry smoothie, and cinnamon roll. Bonus: overheard the owner tell another customer what they had ordered was not up to her quality standards and that she did not want to sell the item. Offered a refund or item exchange or told the customershe was remaking the item and it would be a wait. I thought that was awesome and appreciated her honesty and unwillingness to sell a sub-par product.

Love The Perk! This gem is comfy to kick back and relax with a book or chat up friends. I have been in several times for lunch and coffee and they are consistently very good. I highly recommend the Reuben sandwich with Okra chips. The last time I visited (a Thursday at noon) there was a lovely young lady performing original music. It was a real treat!

Nice place and the people who work here are super sweet, very nice people. And the food is good when actually have the stuff. They are constantly running out of stuff and it’s not like a one time thing, like the last 8 times I’ve been there they’ll only have enough stuff to make like half of what I ordered. Idk who does the inventory for the store but they let this place run out of stuff a lot and it makes you not want to go back because you spend all this time waiting and end up only getting half of what you intended. Wish they would be better about this because it is a decent place.

We ordered breakfast burritos on our way out of town but weren't informed that they were out of half the ingredients until after receiving the burritos, which ended up in the trash due to lack of flavor. However, the coffee was so good that I'm giving them 5 stars. After trying many different coffee shops during our vacation to Ponca, I can definitely say this place has the best coffee in town.
