The People's Coffee

Had a great cappuccino and an absolutely delicious Caprese panini here. The service I got right after I entered was very friendly, warm and patient while I took my sweet time deciding on what food to get after immediately ordering my cappuccino. I sat at the bar stools by the window overlooking 200 Street enjoying the relaxing background music. The place is clean and the decor is beautiful, with a rustic country-house wooden floor, chairs and tables and cool pictures on the walls. I’m very glad this place is within a short walk of where I’m staying during my visit to Salt Lake City and across the street from a fantastic barbershop. I will be back and I highly recommend it.

Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, this beautiful corner lot café has giant windows, plenty of natural light, and great outdoor seating—it’s the kind of space that immediately feels warm and inviting. Victoria greeted my wife and me as soon as we walked in and made us feel right at home. I ordered my usual iced Americano with heavy cream, and my wife tried the seasonal Salted Maple Cinnamon Latte. Both drinks were absolutely fantastic—the Americano was smooth and bold, and the latte was perfectly balanced with just the right touch of sweetness. I had such a wonderful experience at this coffee shop! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming — the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or catch up with a friend. The drinks are excellent, brewed with care and full of flavor. What really makes this place special, though, is the owner. He is genuinely kind, attentive, and treats every customer like a friend. It’s rare these days to find a business where you feel so appreciated and cared for. His warmth and hospitality create an environment that keeps you wanting to come back. If you’re looking for not only great coffee but also a place that makes you feel at home, this is the spot. Highly recommended!

My favorite coffee shop downtown! We come here almost every weekend. They have the best mochas and non-dairy lattes! Their lox bagel and everything bagel with cream cheese are favorites of ours too. The owner, Omar, is always so welcoming and appreciative of all of his customers. The staff has always been great and above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience. It’s an instant mood booster coming into this atmosphere and I look forward to our trips here weekly!
