Service was excellent, food was very good. My girlfriend and I will definitely return in the future. My only problem was the amount of flies circling my table, I understand it being a difficult situation to control; but was a nuisance. I got the double quarter pounder and the beef was great. My girlfriend got her go to order, the roast beef short order and says it was exceptional. If it wasn’t for the flies this would have been a 15/15 experience.

Potato salad has never compelled me to visit a restaurant, until now. I was enjoying some delicious potato salad at a 4th of July celebration at a friend's house when she told me she had purchased it from the Paxton Restaurant. She raved about their walleye special they serve on Fridays. She said she liked the potato salad so much that she had to have it at her Independence Day potluck too. I hadn't been to this diner in at least 20 years. I don't live close enough to Bainbridge to make it over there very often, but memories of that potato salad prompted me to drive over from Chillicothe with a friend who was visiting from Columbus this past Friday. Delicious food at a very reasonable price. My husband had the 3 piece Walleye dinner with 2 sides - he said it was incredible and we bought 2 extra pieces for tomorrow. I had the liver and onions, green beans and cottage cheese - it, too, was very good. I am on a keto diet so I ate half and saved the other half for tomorrow. I did not, however, have the gravy put on it. The service was excellent. We will definitely be going back.

Absolutely delicious food! First time ever coming here and it was definitely a great experience. The food and service is amazing, nothing bad at all to be said about this place.
