The Patten House Restaurant & Bar

This place is incredibly welcoming and charming! I sat at the bar and was taken care of by two wonderfully kind and hospitable bartenders, Darin and Julie—they were fantastic. I ordered the mezcal margarita from the signature cocktail menu, and since I don’t usually love overly smoky mezcal drinks, Darin thoughtfully adjusted the recipe to suit my taste. It was perfect! Parking was easy on the side of the building, the food was delicious, and I highly recommend this spot!

Our family was excited to learn Patten House had reopened. We had 2 birthdays to celebrate and we booked one of their private rooms upstairs for our group. To say we enjoyed our night would be an understatement. From the appetizers of baked figs, alligator bites, Cajun egg rolls, to our entrees of shrimp and grits, filet, and grouper were all excellent and delicious! Service was excellent intuitive, warm and friendly. This family is already making plans to celebrate our 30th anniversary there this April! Thank you Patten House there is nothing out there in my book in our area as unique and special as you presented!

Have been to the Patten House numerous times over the years, but this latest iteration is absolutely great! Wife and I had the excellent Friday night fish fry, perfect drinks from Darin and Julie at the bar, and Paco was the best waiter. Shout out to Nancy and Sheila who we always enjoy chatting with!

The meat I ordered was good. However, the Smashed potatoes were served cold and very lumpy. A little bit of lumps is fine, but these potatoes were not cooked fully. Neither were the carrots, which were also cold at these prices. The side should be cooked as well as the meat. I let my server know, but my server did not offer any amount off the bill or any way to make me happy with my food. She just dropped me a bill for the full amount.

Had a wonderful experience on a Saturday night celebrating family birthdays. Chris was a fantastic server, and we appreciated chatting with the owner and all other staff encountered. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. Looking forward to coming back!
