The Pancake Shop

Had breakfast here this last week after reading all the rave reviews. We were about to be seated right away. The restaurant was maybe 2/3 full on a Thursday morning. The service was excellent, very prompt and friendly! The restaurant itself is small, but well appointed and clean. The food itself was alright. Maybe we were anticipating more based off the other reviews. It was good, but not mind blowing or anything. We would eat there again though. The hot chocolate was really really good, so be sure to get that! Oh, and the apple butter was great!

The cozy, welcoming vibe hits you the second you walk in, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or faster. I kicked things off with a hot chocolate piled high with whipped cream. For breakfast, we ordered a cheese and bacon omelet with toast and a stack of two chocolate chip pancakes. Y’all… these pancakes are massive. I barely made it through half, but they were so good—great flavor, great texture. The warm syrup and soft butter were the perfect finishing touch. After hearing and seeing so many amazing reviews, I couldn’t wait to eat here. Did not disappoint!! The pancakes are awesome (my favorite) and the family atmosphere felt super cool. Rachel was just so great! Thank you!! A must stop when in Hot Springs!!

Georgia took amazing care of us! It was so busy but we immediately got a seat and she was constantly filling up our coffee and water. The food itself was awesome! As you can see, we had a feast. The chocolate chip pancakes were fluffy with melted chocolate and the sausage…wow! They have house made sausage and it’s savory, lightly spicy, and matched with what we ate. They will get you in and out rapidly! Also, the french toast is deep fried and dissolves in your mouth. 😍

A must go when living or visiting Hot Springs. This time capsule takes you back to breakfast Nostalgia when you could taste the pride and passion in the food that was served. @thepancakeshop is one of the best breakfast spots in Arkansas. Homemade goodness and service with a smile. ❤️🙌
