How is this a local place? The interior oozes with atmosphere, from the colorful paintings to the gorgeous chandeliers...yet it still somehow feels homey and relaxing. The food is delicious, and the dessert is decadent. Perfect date night haunt.
Sylvester is out kicking its coverage with this place. From the aesthetic to the flavors, the Palace delivers. It’s cliche at this point to call an experience ‘elevated,’ but that’s certainly the right word on this case. Sure, people will complain about the price, but not all levels of experience are right for all people. If you properly define value based on ratio of quality to price, the Palace is high on the value scale! We spent save room for the fried icecream, but we WILL be back!!
This was our first visit to the restaurant, it was an hour and a half drive, but so worth it, we will definitely be back. Love the atmosphere, so much to look at. We had a server named Sierra and she was absolutely amazing, answered all our questions about different menu items and had the best personality and was always smiling. The food was so yummy, I had the grouper tacos, got all the toppings on the side, so I can make sure I liked everything (2nd pic) and my husband had the French dip. We would definitely get again, but next time we definitely want to try something else on the menu because we know it will be delicious. We had never had fried ice cream, but after Sierra recommended and explained in detail how it's made and we could not resist. Every single thing is homemade except for
Went for brunch with a larger party. We got the date appetizer and the shrimp, both were excellent. On the breakfast side, eggs were overcooked and homestyle potatoes were frozen from a bag. Everyone that got lunch loved the entrees and the sides. We split a desert, which was also very good and unique. Atmosphere is awesome and waitress was very attentive.
We drove from out of town for our anniversary dinner. We ordered two of the most expensive things, the Lamb Chops with mashed potatoes and the Broiled Lobster Tails with sautéed green beans. The mashed potatoes were cold as well as the plate itself. The lobster tails were severely over cooked to the point of being very hard to chew. The sautéed green beans were room temperature, soggy and tasted like they came out of a can of Glory's style canned goods. Our waitress was spacy and stood at the bar the entire time waiting on our drink instead of checking in with us for our food order. When we sent the Lamp chops with cold potatoes back we were told that the food warmer had been turned off. Our reservation was for 5:30. They didn't open until 5 and there were only a handful of people in the
