The Oyster Bar

Really good place to shop for your fish and any other seafoods. The best one ever to touch down in Valdosta the original O.G. Oh wow I just found out that there was a seafood market on the South side my friend tells me. My friend is lame that's why he's the only one who knows about it. Oyster bar is the best!!!

I just witnessed the tall, balding, owner in the back cleaning the fish racially insult a woman all because she asked about the dollar amount of the fish not adding up to the weight of the fish. Several black men were in the store, none said a word, & continued to spend their black dollars. When the woman walked out the men came out behind her & told her the guy was wrong. She asked why do they continue to shop with them. The men said, "He was wrong, but it ain't got nothing to do with none of us....." wow!!!!

We was wanting fresh blue crabs but didn't want to keep going back an forth to Florida to get it so we googled fresh blue crabs near me in this place came up and I'm so happy it did. The seafood is fresh and it's very family oriented. Fresh blue crabs, oysters, scallops, crawdads, shrimp, fish the list goes on and on. Very clean, NO fish market smell with affordable prices. They accept cash, EBT and local checks only, no Debit cards!! I love it here, they call us the Nashville Crew lol

2 lbs of medium shrimp, some Old Bay. ( STOP) :) Now I'm headed to mama dem house to get this cooked up with grits and Tilapia. Oyster Bar, you're always on time. See ya Thursday for the blue crabs and then repeat.

We stopped by this place on our way home from Florida. Google sent us there, fish was very fresh and customer service was top. fish and shrimps reasonably priced. They dont take credit/debit card. Make sure you have cash or stop by an atm prior. I will call to see if they can mail some fish my way in north Georgia. I love that they love the Lord
