The Owl Bar & Cafe

First time stopping at the Owl Bar Cafe during a long road trip, with no idea what to expect—and I’m so glad we did. The moment we walked in, the place felt nostalgic and rustic, yet warm and homey at the same time. I loved all the owl decorations and the dollar bills covering the walls—such a fun tradition with a great story behind it. The food didn’t disappoint either. The chili hamburger was delicious, and the onion rings were perfectly crispy and full of flavor. This unexpected stop turned into one of the highlights of our trip, and it’s definitely a place I’d visit again.

Awesome place of history and damn good Green Chile cheeseburgers. If your experience is like mine, not a quick in and out but the burger folks definitely got it quicker than my tasty steak and eggs.

Stopped by on a nostalgia trip. Used to eat here a lot back in the day. But working life drove me away. It’s probably been 20 years since I ate here last time and everything was pretty much exactly the same. Delicious cheeseburgers great onion rings, cold beer, great atmosphere. Stop by if you’re in the neighborhood.

What an outstanding stop we made! We have passed this little spot so many times and never stopped. Boy are we glad we did. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere is very home like. The history of the area is so fascinating and Ms. Betty was the sweetest! Almost as sweet as my tea was. I couldn’t recommend this spot any stronger! Get the Green Chili Cheese Burger! So good!!

It has that old dive bar diner feel. Friendly, not fine dining, but comfort food and friendliness makes up for that. I will be going back to try the burger but it was a fun experience.
