Customer Reviews
Stopped in for breakfast before heading back to Indiana after helping with Ice Storm Fern. Plenty of parking for large vehicles at that hour. Wonderful food and great service in a really neat and cozy atmosphere. We all enjoyed the different dishes from country ham to biscuits and gravy to waffles. After breakfast we wandered around while everyone was paying to take in the scenic views and wonder vintage items of decor.
Fantastic atmosphere and culture. So many cool things to see. Friendly people. Very happy to have discovered this while working. Food options were good and they were well made. Recommending the appetizer sampler. We went back four times during our stay. They have a coffee/ice cream shop and a general store. A sorta mini gatlinburg with walking trails and a bed and breakfast
The Outpost has a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Our server, Holly, was knowledgeable about local favorites and provided excellent service. The dining areas are clean with an orderly layout. The restrooms are warm, clean, and well stocked. There is also an adjoining general store where you can find t-shirts, fresh vegetables, bakery items, and any fishing gear you might need. Add this stop to your travels.
Incredible place! Visited for the first time today. Has the chicken nachos, they could have been better, but the homemade tortilla chips made it worth it! But that Big Daddy combo! Wow! Philly sandwich was amazing too! Not frozen thin mean, actual chunks of steak! Highly recommend and will be back!
We stopped by on the way to my son’s football game. Wife had a pulled chicken spud and I had the bacon cheeseburger with homemade fries. It was all on point. Food was delicious and service was incredible. I also enjoyed seeing the Bible verses on the menu and the music was on point. I will definitely go back!!
