The Original Steaks and Hoagies - Forest Park

The food is terrible they offer chicken and other things but they should be putting the focus on the cheesesteaks because those are Not Cheesesteaks!!! The meat is almost like ground beef not thinly sliced ribeye no flavor at all the service was ok and fries was good but the cheesesteaks are trash Hot Garbage! I’m so tired of these bootleg food spot claiming to be authentic. $30 wasted never again

Food: Get the cheese curds and meatball marinara sandwich. The cheese curds were tasty and stretchy, but I’m not sure if they were made of curds. They were probably made using mozzarella. I’d get it again. I like cheese!! The marinara sandwich was full of meat! Super generous. Also the bread is toasted perfectly! I personally didn’t like the pizza fries as much as I was hoping to. It would be cool if they torched it! Unfortunately the marinara sauce got it all soggy. I think if they stuck to cheese and meat and some sort of tomato seasoning (is that a thing? Probably!) or Italian seasoning it would be better :) Cajun fries were good! I would have preferred curly fries. Maybe they’ll make it in the future! I liked their unlimited soda fountain option. Always a good deal. I did make a mistak

Best cheesesteaks in town. Best Nashville hot chicken sandwich as well. Tried some of the neighbors and not even close the what these guys do.

Yeah I ate before taking a picture! Food was hot and flavorful! The fries soooo good !! Would definitely return for the lunch special to try other options!
