The Original Patti

Recently we were able to go to The Original Patti after it reopened. The new restaurant is a combination of both the one that was at its current location, and the one that used to be on Kaliste Saloom. The decor and feel of the restaurant is the same as the old restaurant, but the menu is more aligned with the old location on Kaliste Saloom. Despite the changes, the burgers are still really good. My go to burgers is always one with BBQ flavors and they do a good version here.

It was my first time eating at this delightful place. ordered crawfish egg rolls. It was so yummy. I ordered the PHILLI BURGER- famous chuck burger topped with sautéed bell peppers, onions and Provolone cheese. Taste the brotherly love here! I enjoyed my burger. The ambiance was nice. Kinda quiet. I was able to eat in peace. My server was sweet. Im glad I was able to finally able to eat here.

It had been a few years since I had been here and completely forgot how good the food was! The drinks came in a frozen mug, very refreshing. The restaurant still has the adorable fireplace in the middle and the entire restaurant is so rustic and inviting. The stained glass windows make for a gorgeous atmosphere. We had the Pati skins for an appetizer, the hamburger steak (added pepper jack cheese), and the smokin ring burger. All really really good and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back, perfect spot for a lunch date.

I ordered a hamburger to go and I ordered to be cooked well done. When I got home and took a bit, it was so pink inside it was almost raw. I couldnt even eat it. I called the restaurant and the manager told me the only thing she could do was fix me another one. I live about 25 minutes away so this was not an option for me being it was almost closing time for them. I had my receipt and my order clearly stated "well done". I offered to send some pictures so that she could see I wasnt exaggerating but she said that was ok. I asked for her to just credit my card since I was not able to go right back and pick up another order, she told me that they dont give refunds. I will never eat at this place again.

Good burger. Peanuts are always nice. Steak sandwich is a pleasant surprise. Definitely a place I frequent.
