The Original Pancake House

I really wanted to like this place, but my taste buds left feeling confused and a little betrayed 😅. I ordered the steak and eggs and also tried the French toast. Everything looked promising… until I took a bite. Absolutely no seasoning. Nothing. It was giving hospital cafeteria vibes, and not even the good kind 😭🍽️. The steak tasted like it had never met a spice in its life. The eggs tried their best but needed help. The French toast was basically warm bread with hopes and dreams. I kept reaching for the syrup like it could fix everything, but even that wasn’t enough. The only saving grace was the hot chocolate, which was actually pretty good. If I ever come back, it might be just for that ☕✨. Overall, the food was bland, and I walked out wishing I had gone somewhere else for breakfast

The pancakes were great! The bacon and eggs were also good, but you can't go wrong with bacon and eggs. Service was ok, I was disappointed that they (one was being trained)never came back to check on me and did not ask if I wanted water. I was there for 35 min and not once was I asked of i wanted or needed anything else.

3.5 stars. The service was reasonable and the atmosphere was cozy. The food was average. My husband had the 2x2x3. And I had the egg white garden scrambler. My food came out in a puddle of water, so I only ate the top layer. My husband's food was mediocre. It wasn't the worst breakfast I've ever had, but I won't be going back. Additionally, wifi accessibility had to be approved by the manager, which was kind of bizarre.

Went on a Sunday for breakfast, seated immediately! Service was great with delicious pancakes and omelettes!

I enjoyed the breakfast with a nice cup of coffee. Pleasant service and tasty french toast.
