I'll sit this right here take it for what its worth because it may just save your business as a whole one day. i cook for a living and was born and raised in eunice. when you have a buffet in your restaurant you have to keep the items you offer on the buffet while you open for service. you cant be having customers waiting on a empty pan stop being cheap and put the food out. also when you have a steamtable you dont keep pouring food into a pan with dried up food on the edges you put it in a new pan and change the pan out. if you trying to save without waist put the vegetables in 2½ deep 3rd pans , main entrees in 2½ half pans and items that dont move fast at all put them in 2½ 4th or 6th pans . with a small buffet never put the foods in 4½ deep pans and 6½ deep thats only for high volu

Very good ! The mashed potatoes and hamburger steak is so flavorful! The green beans are a little bland but overall, for $10 you cant beat it.

Was referred this place from a friend. The gumbo was simple. Roux water that it. I ordered shrimp etouffee I got crawfish etouffee on a baked potatoes it was watered down. The water tasted like chlorine in a public pool. The coke was flat. If this was the only place to go I would come after I exhausted all other options. Wait staff was friendly. Food was crap

Love this place. I got the chicken and sausage gumbo. I'm very picky about my gumbo and they did not disappoint. The gumbo had a great flavor and there was more than plenty of it. In fact, I couldn't finish the bowl. The potato salad was delicious also. The server check on me just enough. She made sure I was happy with my meal but she didn't ask so much that she was disturbing my lunch. I like that in a server. When it was all said and done I had a great meal that I couldn't eat all of for less than 20 bucks. You can't ask for much more these days. Keep up the great work!!! I will be back.

This is the first time my husband and I have eaten in Eunice. We were passing through on a Saturday evening and wanted something that was outside of your typical chain restaurant. We were promptly greeted as soon as we walked in. Once seated , our waitress was very friendly and quick to wait on us. I ordered the chicken and sausage gumbo. My hubby had the bacon cheeseburger with tots. First, the gumbo was spectacular! The flavor was perfect! I’ve eaten a lot of gumbo through the years and you can always tell if a gumbo has been cooked correctly-it MUST be slow simmered for hours to allow the flavors to “marry”. Otherwise you will end up with a liquid that tastes like water, seasoning, and flour roux. This gumbo was definitely cooked by someone that is experienced in true Cajun cooking
